In this post, I’m excited to share with you this chic-bedroom makeover I decorated for a dear friend of mine. This project was a labor of love for both of us. At the time we work both working 14+ hour days on a production set during the day and DIY projects in her room at night.
This was super fun and easy makeover because my friend already had the main core pieces of furniture in her space, like her bed, floor mirror, tv, and bookshelf. With these pieces already secured, we were off to the races to find decor on a budget to turn this room into an Instagram worthy dreamland. Take a look.
We added this beautiful marble peel and stick wallpaper. I love the way it gives the room that glam vibe.
This wall of lights that we added gives the room a soft dreamy glow to the room when the lights are off. This mirror makes them a go-to place for those perfect Instagram selfie moments
I don’t know why I had the urge to spray paint these closet doors gold, but I ABSOLUTELY love the little additional pop of glam these add.
We swapped the carpet out and opted for a wood-like click in place laminate finish. It’s a durable option to real wood at a fraction of the cost.
