Bohemian She-Den Room Makeover

Hey hey, you guys!

In this blog post I’m sharing a ‘labor of love’ makeover I decorated for a friend of mine. This project was special because it was done while I was working out of town for a few months on a TV project.

I took on this challenge with 1 month left until my time in Atlanta was over, and we were work

We added this SUPER CUTE gold abstract peel and stick wallpaper to help section out a workspace in the room.

It feels like in every makeover that I do there is at least one project per room that requires spray paint, and this one is no different. I love what these forest green closet doors add to space.

I love that we chose prints and colors that were all different, but it still has a very Urban, earthy vibe and all work together.

The Papasan is a personal favorite of mine and I couldn’t resist adding one here, This brown and white cow print is perfect here.

Now, this wall is what I pondered of this makeover. I knew I wanted to liven the wall by adding some sort of painted accent wall. I didn’t want to paint the entire wall, and since I wasn’t doing that, something was triggering me to carry the design in some way to the other walls. This is what I ended up with in the end, it was easy to tape off with a laser leveler and carry over to the remaining walls for a tied in look and I have got to say, I LOVE love love how good it turned out.

I added some final touches by mounting the TV, adding some twinkle lights along the perimeter of the room and adding a few really cute and affordable hanging shelves to add more little decor moments throughout.
